How AFWH Handles Supporter Information

Specifics on SMS opt-in data, attribution, analytics, advertising measurement, and privacy controls.

A Fight Worth Having ("AFWH") is a federal independent-expenditure-only political action committee registered with the Federal Election Commission, FEC ID C00933085, located at 105 N A Street, Suite 7, Lenoir City, TN 37771. This policy describes how AFWH handles information collected through afightworthhaving.com, supporter forms, and our SMS program.

1. Information we collect

We collect the information you submit through signup, donation, and contact flows: name, email, ZIP, mobile phone number (if provided), and any volunteer or supporter interests you select.

For SMS opt-ins, we additionally record consent metadata: the exact consent text shown to you, the consent text version, timestamp, source URL, IP address, and user agent.

We use analytics and advertising measurement tools, including Google Analytics / Google Tag Manager, Meta Pixel, and X/Twitter Pixel. These may use cookies, pixels, browser storage, or similar technologies to help us understand how visitors found the site, which pages they viewed, and whether signup or donation paths are working. We store campaign attribution such as UTM parameters in browser storage so signup records preserve how a supporter found us.

2. How we use information

We use supporter information to send updates by email and text message, process donations, organize volunteer activity, run independent expenditure campaigns, contact voters about elections, and measure what is working.

3. SMS opt-in data and sharing

We will not share your opt-in to an SMS campaign with any third party for purposes unrelated to providing you with the services of that campaign. We may share your Personal Data, including your SMS opt-in or consent status, with third parties that help us provide our messaging services, including but not limited to platform providers, phone companies, and any other vendors who assist us in the delivery of text messages.

All of the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

We do not sell, trade, rent, or transfer to outside parties your mobile phone number, SMS opt-in status, or SMS consent records for promotional or marketing purposes.

4. Other sharing

We may share non-SMS information with service providers that help operate AFWH programs, including CRM providers, donation processors, analytics providers, and compliance vendors. We may also disclose information if required by law, by the FEC, or by other regulators.

5. Retention

We retain SMS opt-in and consent records for at least six years for compliance purposes. We retain opt-out records indefinitely as a suppression list so we do not re-contact numbers that have opted out.

6. Your choices

Reply STOP, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, or QUIT to any AFWH text to opt out of text messages. Reply HELP or INFO for help.
