San Francisco is not for sale

Scott Wiener has the real estate money and a super PAC funded by tech billionaires. Connie Chan has the nurses and the unions. Help us close the gap.

Where they split

Same party. Different sides.

  • Taxing billionaires

Chan backs Proposition 40, a one-time 5% tax on California billionaires to cover federal health care cuts. Wiener opposes it. His words: “I don't support it.”

  • Taxing overpaid CEOs

Wiener opposed San Francisco's Overpaid CEO Tax on companies that pay their CEO more than 100 times their median worker. SEIU withdrew its endorsement of him and endorsed Chan.

Connie Chan, in her own words

“Washington must stop mortgaging our future for the whims and wants of billionaires and big corporations. Now, more than ever, is the time to fight for an America that puts working people first.”

Connie Chan's Working People's Plan

“We cannot take back Congress by cozying up to billionaires.”

First congressional forum, January 2026, as reported by the San Francisco Standard

Chan has represented District 1 on the San Francisco Board of Supervisors since January 2021 and won again in 2024. She has chaired the Board's Budget Committee. The California Labor Federation gave her its sole endorsement in this race, and National Nurses United endorsed her too.

Her pledge, word for word: “Connie Chan for Congress will not take money from corporate PACs, AIPAC or its lobbyists and representatives, the NRA or lobbyists and executives from pharma, PG&E, fossil fuel or tobacco companies.”
